We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join our Engineering group in Austin, TX. This position will be responsible for supporting requirements analysis for total systems and subsystems.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN AND HAVE A CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN ONE.

Duties & Responsibilities:
*Support requirements analysis for total systems and subsystems
*Coordinate the requirements specification process to ensure the conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
*Conduct independent technical investigations in system design

Desired Experience:
*8 years systems requirements development preferred
*Experience with Department of Defense communications standards, real-time communications, cross-platform development in Windows and Linux preferred
*Experience with software development compliant with the Capability Maturity Model (Integrated), Level 3 or higher preferred
*Experience in performing hardware/software tradeoffs preferred
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design
Experience in performing systems analysis, specifications, and design for real-time software intensive systems
*Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Must have or have the ability to obtain a US security clearance

Education:
*B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and at least 5 years of experience
